SPI/FILMBOX brings TV, VOD to MTN users in Nigeria
In a further expansion of its business around
the globe, TV operator SPI International/FILMBOX is to deliver 24/7 TV
channels and a VOD service to the VeeTee mobile TV service from Africa’s
leading telco MTN.
VeeTee
will now offer eight channels from SPI’s worldwide portfolio: FilmBox
Africa with movies and TV series; FilmBox Art House, featuring
independent and classic films; DocuBox airing documentaries on nature
and human civilisation; FashionBox devoted to fashion trends and
shopping; the 24/7 combat sports channel FightBox; Fast&FunBox with
extreme sports programming; international music network 360TuneBox;
and Gametoon, a brand-new e-gaming channel addressed to millennials. In
addition to live TV channels VeeTee now also provides MTN customers with
access to FilmBox OnDemand which allows users to watch films, TV series
and sports, music and lifestyle videos. whenever and wherever they
